Laney AH400 – 5-channel multi-input amplifier with Bluetooth and USB-C

Laney AH400 is a 5-channel multi-input amplifier with 400 watts peak output, a 15-inch speaker, 1-inch compression driver with horn, Bluetooth, USB-C audio in/out, built-in DSP and 5-band master EQ. As the flagship model in the AudioHub 2026 Series, it is designed for larger classrooms, rehearsals, live use and small to medium-sized stages where multiple instruments, microphones and external audio sources need to be handled through one system.

Five independent channels provide capacity for several users at the same time, while the full-range speaker configuration is suited to vocals, guitar, bass, keyboards and backing tracks. A DI output, headphone output, Remote connection and USB-C make AH400 suitable both as a standalone system and as part of a larger PA, recording or streaming setup.

400 watts peak for larger rooms and stages

AH400 delivers 400 watts peak and is the most powerful model in the AudioHub 2026 Series. The additional output makes it suitable for teaching environments, rehearsals and small to medium-sized live applications where greater level and coverage are required.

15-inch speaker with compression driver and horn

The amplifier uses a 15-inch speaker together with a 1-inch compression driver and horn. This combination provides strong low-frequency reproduction together with clear upper-frequency detail from sources such as vocals, keyboards, acoustic instruments and backing tracks.

The full-range design makes AH400 more flexible than a conventional instrument amplifier and better suited to setups involving several different types of audio source.

Five independent channels for complete setups

AH400 provides five independent channels with XLR and jack inputs, allowing several instruments and microphones to be connected simultaneously. A vocal microphone, guitar, bass and keyboard can, for example, all be used through the same system without requiring separate amplifiers for each source.

Bluetooth for backing tracks and wireless playback

Bluetooth allows music, backing tracks and reference material to be streamed wirelessly from a compatible phone, tablet or computer. This is useful for teaching, rehearsals and live performances where external playback sources need to be integrated quickly.

USB-C audio in/out for recording and streaming

USB-C audio in/out allows AH400 to connect directly to a computer for use with DAW or streaming software. Connected audio sources can therefore be integrated into a digital workflow without requiring a separate audio interface.

Built-in DSP with parameter control

AH400 includes a built-in DSP section with parameter control for adapting the sound to different instruments, voices and applications. This allows signal processing to be handled directly from the amplifier without always requiring additional external processing.

5-band master EQ

The built-in 5-band master EQ provides control over the system's overall tonal balance, making it easier to adapt AH400 to different rooms, combinations of instruments and programme material.

DI output, headphone output and Remote connection

The DI output allows the signal to be sent to a PA system, front-of-house, external mixer or recording equipment. The headphone output can be used for monitoring, while the Remote connection supports compatible external control.

Rear-panel inputs and internal universal power supply

The inputs are positioned on the rear panel for cleaner cable routing when several audio sources are connected. The internal universal power supply is designed for different mains voltages, making AH400 practical for a wide range of installations and environments.

Illuminated baffle with selectable colours

The illuminated baffle provides a distinctive visual element and offers selectable colour options for stage, studio and teaching environments.
