The Orange O Tone 40 is a 40-watt solid-state combo amp with a single-channel design, developed for practice sessions and small live performances. It delivers a clean and characterful sound through a custom-designed 12-inch Voice of the World speaker.

Built-in Effects

The amplifier features digital reverb and a footswitchable tremolo based on a bias-modulated JFET circuit. The tremolo provides a wide range of expression – from smooth sweeps to rhythmic pulses. The reverb module models a classic spring reverb, adding depth and spaciousness to the sound, from subtle ambience to extended, ethereal trails.

Effects Loop for Pedal Integration

A buffered, low-impedance effects loop allows the use of external pedals without tone loss. This makes the O Tone 40 well-suited for combining drive, modulation, and time-based effects in a single chain.

Compact and Portable

Thanks to its relatively low weight and compact size, the O Tone 40 is easy to transport and fits just as well in rehearsal spaces as on stage.
