Construction and design

Its sleek, modern design with a tapered grille nods to Neumann classics like the M 49. The intuitive navigation switch on the rear panel controls all key functions: pad (0/–6/–12 dB), low cut (lin/40 Hz/100 Hz), and polar patterns (omni, wide cardioid, cardioid, hypercardioid, figure-8). The newly developed dual diaphragm capsule ensures precise transient response and balanced frequency performance across all patterns.

Technology and performance

As part of Neumann’s TLM series, the TLM 107 features transformerless circuitry for open, transparent sound and unrestricted bass response. It handles up to 141 dB SPL (153 dB with pad) without distortion and has an exceptionally low self-noise of 10 dB(A). The wide frequency response and linearity make it ideal for vocals, instruments, percussion, and broadcast applications.
