SQ-6+ is the mid-size model in the SQ+ range, offering more hands-on control than SQ-5+ with 25 motorised faders, 16 SoftKeys and 4 SoftRotaries. It combines portability with an expanded control surface, making it ideal for larger productions where fast access to channels, mixes and functions is essential.

SQ-6+ is built around Allen & Heath’s 96 kHz XCVI core for phase-coherent mixing, high resolution and ultra-low latency. The mixer handles 48 input channels and offers Stereo Main LR, 12 stereo aux/group mixes, 6 mono/linkable matrices, full channel and mix processing, plus support for DEEP Processing.

96 kHz XCVI core

The mixer runs at 96 kHz internal sample rate with an XCVI core that delivers high audio quality, generous headroom and latency below 0.7 ms from local mic input to local Main L/R output with all processing enabled.

25 motorised faders

SQ-6+ features 25 x 100 mm motorised faders and 6 customisable channel strip layers. This provides fast access to more channels and mixes directly from the surface, making larger live productions and more complex installations easier to manage.

9-inch touchscreen and new interface

The capacitive 9-inch touchscreen features a dark, updated interface that is easy to read in different mixing environments. The combination of touchscreen, illuminated encoders, SoftKeys and SoftRotaries provides fast visual and physical control.

RackExtra FX, RackUltra FX and DEEP Processing

SQ-6+ includes 8 RackExtra FX engines with dedicated stereo returns, plus 4 RackUltra FX engines with their own send and return channels. The mixer also supports DEEP Processing for zero-latency channel and mix processors inspired by classic analogue hardware.
