Yamaha CS7 – boom cymbal stand with single-braced legs and retractable boom arm

Yamaha CS7 is a stable and lightweight boom cymbal stand featuring single-braced legs, a 33 cm retractable boom arm, gear-equipped centre tilter and height adjustment from 85 to 160 cm. The stand combines low weight with dependable stability and includes Yamaha's Quick Release Nut and Sound Enhanced Cymbal Washer for fast cymbal changes and natural cymbal movement.

The retractable boom arm also allows the CS7 to be used as a straight cymbal stand. With its three-section telescopic construction, Hinged Boom Tilter Clamp with memory lock and a weight of 3.8 kg, it is a flexible choice for rehearsal, live performance and studio use.

Single-braced legs for low weight and stability

The CS7 features single-braced legs that help keep the weight down, while the three-section telescopic construction provides stable support. The tube diameters are 28.6 mm, 22.2 mm and 19.1 mm, and the total weight is 3.8 kg.

33 cm retractable boom arm

The 33 cm boom arm provides flexible cymbal positioning and can be retracted into the upper tube when not required. This allows the CS7 to be quickly converted from a boom cymbal stand into a straight cymbal stand.

Gear-equipped tilter and Hinged Boom Tilter Clamp

The gear-equipped centre tilter provides secure angle adjustment in fixed positions. The Hinged Boom Tilter Clamp grips the boom arm from three sides and features an integrated memory lock that helps retain the boom position between setups.

Quick Release Nut and Sound Enhanced Cymbal Washer

The Quick Release Nut QRN8 allows cymbals to be mounted and removed quickly without threading the nut along the entire post. The Sound Enhanced Cymbal Washer SECW8 combines foam and silicone to give the cymbal freedom of movement and natural resonance.
