The Gibson Hummingbird Studio Rosewood Natural carries forward Gibson’s legacy of square-shouldered acoustics like the Hummingbird, Dove, and Songwriter. Handcrafted in Bozeman, Montana, it features solid Sitka spruce for the top and solid rosewood for the back and sides, delivering a richer bass response and shimmering treble overtones compared to its mahogany counterpart. Its full-depth body ensures classic Hummingbird projection and depth.

Construction and Feel

The Advanced Response utile neck offers smooth playability with a comfortable, natural grip. The rosewood fingerboard features 20 frets, a 16" radius, and classic mother-of-pearl parallelogram inlays. Finished in gloss Sitka spruce and satin rosewood, it provides both elegant looks and a familiar Gibson feel.

Electronics and Hardware

Equipped with an LR Baggs Element Bronze active under-saddle pickup with a soundhole-mounted volume control for plug-and-play convenience. Grover Rotomatic tuners and TUSQ nut, saddle, and bridge pins deliver tuning stability and clarity. Includes a modern Gibson hardshell case.
