The Gibson J-45 Standard Honey Burst VOS carries on the tradition of Gibson’s most famous acoustic guitar. First introduced in 1942, the J-45 became known as “The Workhorse” for its reliability, balance, and tonal depth. The new Honey Burst VOS finish gives it a classic, subtly aged appearance while maintaining its full, dynamic sound.

Construction and Feel

Featuring a solid Sitka spruce top paired with mahogany back and sides, this round-shoulder dreadnought offers warm lows, rich mids, and clear highs. The mahogany Slim Taper neck and rosewood fingerboard ensure smooth playability and comfortable hand positioning.

Electronics and Hardware

Equipped with an LR Baggs VTC pickup system with soundhole-mounted volume and tone controls for natural amplified tone. Grover Rotomatic tuners with kidney buttons deliver reliable tuning stability. Includes a Gibson hardshell case.
