The Gibson J-45 Studio Walnut Natural is part of Gibson’s Studio Series, handcrafted in Bozeman, Montana. Designed for both performance and recording, it blends classic Gibson craftsmanship with modern reliability.

Construction and materials

The iconic J-45 round-shoulder body features a gloss nitrocellulose Sitka spruce top in natural finish, paired with walnut back and sides. The multi-ply top binding and single-ply back binding give it a clean and timeless look.

Neck and playability

The utile neck features an Advanced Response profile that provides comfortable playability across the rosewood fingerboard. With a 24.75" scale and a 43.8 mm nut width, it delivers a balanced and responsive playing experience.

Electronics and hardware

Equipped with an L.R. Baggs Element Bronze undersaddle pickup and a soundhole-mounted volume control for natural amplification. Nickel Grover Rotomatic tuners, a rosewood belly-up bridge, and a TUSQ nut and saddle ensure tuning stability. Comes with a modern hardshell case.
