The Gibson J-45 Studio Walnut Burst belongs to the Studio Series, handcrafted in Bozeman, Montana. Built for stage and studio, it combines Gibson’s legendary craftsmanship with modern performance design.

Construction and materials

The J-45 features a gloss nitrocellulose Sitka spruce top in Walnut Burst finish, complemented by walnut back and sides for a balanced and articulate tone. Multi-ply top binding and single-ply back binding highlight its refined appearance.

Neck and playability

The utile neck with an Advanced Response profile offers comfortable playability across the rosewood fingerboard. With a 24.75" scale length, 20 frets, and a 43.8 mm TUSQ nut, it provides smooth feel and precision.

Electronics and hardware

Equipped with an L.R. Baggs Element Bronze undersaddle pickup and soundhole-mounted volume control, the J-45 Studio is ready for live performance. Grover Rotomatic tuners, a rosewood belly-up bridge, and nickel-plated hardware complete the setup. Includes a modern hardshell case.
