Ibanez AAM700CE-NT – Western Guitar with Pickup and Cutaway (Advanced Auditorium)

The Ibanez AAM700CE-NT is an all-solid western guitar with cutaway and built-in electronics, part of the Advanced Auditorium series. It is designed to combine comfortable playability with a balanced and dynamic tone, suitable for both studio and stage.

Body and Construction

The guitar features a solid Sitka spruce top and solid African mahogany back and sides. The specially designed X-M bracing provides wide frequency response, strong projection, and long sustain, suitable for both pick and fingerstyle playing.

A.I.R. Port – Acoustic Information Response

The AAM700CE includes A.I.R. Port, an additional sound port on the side of the guitar that enhances player monitoring. Angled wooden inserts direct the sound toward the performer, providing clear and natural feedback directly from the instrument.

Electronics and Features

The guitar is equipped with a compact Ibanez Custom Electronics preamp, including undersaddle and contact pickups with separate volume and tone controls. The system preserves the acoustic tone while providing stable, natural, and interference-free amplified sound.

Neck and Playability

The Thermo-Aged African mahogany neck has a Low Oval profile with rounded edges on the Macassar ebony fingerboard. The scalloped bridge and bone components ensure stable tone transfer and reliable tuning.
