Ibanez AE100-DBF
The AE100-DBF belongs to the AE series and features a body with modern design elements that provide easy playability and a balanced tone. The body is made entirely of mahogany with a solid Sitka spruce top, delivering a woody sound with smooth response for fingerstyle and clear projection in the midrange. The combination of Scalloped X Bracing and Tone Projection Back Bracing creates versatile tonal characteristics and rich sustain suitable for both finger and pick playing. Fretboard inlays and an abalone rosette around the soundhole complete the design.
Neck and Playability
The neck is constructed from Nyatoh with a Comfort Grip profile and a laurel fretboard and bridge. The nut width of 43 mm offers ample string spacing for comfortable playing. The neck radius is 400 mm.
Electronics and Features
The AE100-DBF is equipped with an Ibanez T-bar undersaddle pickup and AEQ-TP2 preamp with built-in tuner. The system includes balanced XLR and 1/4" outputs for flexible stage or studio connection. An A.I.R. (Acoustic Information Response) port on the side of the body directs sound toward the player and improves monitoring without affecting the natural tone.
