Ibanez AW65-LG – Dreadnought Acoustic Guitar

The Ibanez AW65-LG (Natural Low Gloss) is part of the Artwood series, developed to combine classic acoustic craftsmanship with modern building methods. The series pays respect to the guitar’s long tradition while introducing updated materials and construction techniques for improved stability and tonal balance.

Body and materials

This model features a Dreadnought body with a solid cedar top that delivers a warm and articulate sound. The mahogany back and sides complement the top with a rich and resonant tone. A natural wooden rosette and low-gloss finish provide a clean, organic look.

Neck and fingerboard

The mahogany neck is attached using a traditional dovetail joint and fitted with an ovangkol fingerboard. It has a 651 mm scale length, 43 mm nut width, and 55 mm width at the 14th fret. The 400 mm radius ensures comfortable playability across the neck.

Details and hardware

The AW65-LG comes equipped with chrome die-cast tuners and Ibanez Advantage™ bridge pins for easier string changes. Both bridge and fingerboard are made of ovangkol, and the guitar is factory-fitted with D’Addario® EXP™ strings.
