Short Scale Inspired by the California Series

This short-scale U-BASS® model builds on Kala’s original California Series, featuring a solid offset body designed for balance and playing comfort.

Compact Size with Full Playability

With a 23.5-inch scale and 22 frets, the neck offers plenty of room for maneuvering while remaining compact enough for travel.

Okoume Construction with Passive Split-Coil Pickup

The body and top are made of okoume, paired with a maple neck and laurel fingerboard. A passive split-coil pickup delivers a rich tone, with onboard volume and tone controls.

Ready for Stage and Studio

Equipped with two strap buttons, a white single-ply pickguard, closed black tuners, and a top-loaded black bridge with four saddles. The neck includes a spoke-wheel truss rod for easy adjustment.

Included Accessories

Comes with a branded gig bag and a truss rod adjustment tool. The bass also fits Kala’s gray tweed hard case.
