The Gibson SG Supreme is an evolution of the classic SG model, built with premium materials and modern construction. The body is made of mahogany with an AAA maple top that highlights the wood grain and gives a distinctive appearance. The combination of mahogany and maple provides clear tone, long sustain, and balanced resonance.

Neck and Fingerboard

The neck is mahogany with a Slim Taper profile for comfortable playability across the fretboard. The fingerboard is ebony with a compound radius and features 24 medium jumbo frets and Super Split Block mother-of-pearl inlays. The headstock features a "Chandelier" mother-of-pearl inlay, inspired by a 1940s design discovered in Gibson’s archives.

Electronics and Controls

The SG Supreme is equipped with Burstbucker Pro pickups – a Burstbucker Pro in the neck and a Burstbucker Pro+ at the bridge. Each pickup has separate volume and tone controls, with push/pull functionality on the volume controls for coil-tapping. This allows switching between humbucker and single-coil tones for versatility.

Hardware and Accessories

The guitar features an aluminum Nashville Tune-O-Matic bridge and an aluminum Stop Bar tailpiece for stable intonation and durability. Grover Locking tuners with keystone buttons ensure tuning stability. Hardware is finished in gold, and a hardshell case is included.
