Schecter Avenger Standard Charcoal Satin

Schecter Avenger Standard Charcoal Satin – electric guitar with ash top and dual humbuckers

Schecter Avenger Standard Charcoal Satin is a 6-string electric guitar with a mahogany body, ash top, bolt-on roasted maple neck and two passive Schecter Diamond Standard humbuckers. With a 25.5-inch scale length, 24 jumbo frets, Thin C neck profile and fixed Tune-O-Matic bridge with stop tailpiece, it combines Schecter's distinctive Avenger design with modern playability and a versatile sound.

The dark Charcoal Satin finish highlights the wood grain and is complemented by black hardware and black pickup covers. Its combination of 24 frets, longer scale length and dual humbuckers makes the Avenger Standard particularly well suited to rock, hard rock and metal, while remaining capable of clean tones and melodic lead sounds.

Overview and features

Mahogany Avenger body with ash top

The Avenger Standard features Schecter's asymmetrical Avenger body shape with a pronounced cutaway for easy access to the upper frets. The body is made from mahogany with an ash top, combining a solid construction with a distinctive modern appearance.

Roasted maple neck with Thin C profile

The bolt-on neck is made from roasted maple and uses Schecter's Thin C profile for a fast and comfortable playing feel. The rosewood fingerboard has a 14-inch radius and 24 jumbo frets, providing plenty of room for bends, vibrato and technical lead playing.

25.5-inch scale for defined attack

The 25.5-inch scale length provides familiar string tension and a clear attack. With the same strings and tuning, it produces slightly higher tension than a shorter 24.75-inch scale, contributing to a firmer and more defined playing feel.

Two Schecter Diamond Standard humbuckers

The Avenger Standard Charcoal Satin is fitted with two passive Schecter Diamond Standard humbuckers with black metal covers. The bridge pickup provides clear attack and good note separation for riffs and driven tones, while the neck pickup offers a fuller, smoother sound for lead work and clean tones.

Controls consist of Master Volume, Master Tone and a 3-way pickup selector, allowing quick selection of the bridge pickup, neck pickup or both together.

Tune-O-Matic bridge with stop tailpiece

The fixed Tune-O-Matic bridge is paired with a separate stop tailpiece, providing a stable setup with individual intonation adjustment for each string. Together with Schecter tuners and a 42 mm nut width, it provides a dependable setup with good sustain and tuning stability.
