Overview and features

Developed with Ed Sheeran

The Outlowd ES Series was developed in collaboration between Orange and Ed Sheeran. ES3 is the smallest model in the range and is designed for acoustic guitar practice, songwriting and music playback in smaller environments.

3 W RMS with a 4-inch speaker

ES3 delivers 3 W RMS through a built-in 4-inch speaker. The amplifier is designed for acoustic guitar and smaller listening environments where clarity and balanced reproduction are more important than high output levels.

The angled cabinet helps direct the sound towards the player when the amplifier is placed on a desk, table or other low surface.

Shape and Reverb controls

The control panel features Volume, Shape and Reverb. Shape adjusts the tonal character of the guitar, while the built-in reverb adds space and ambience.

The straightforward control layout makes it easy to find a useful acoustic sound without external effects or complicated setup.

Bluetooth for music and backing tracks

Bluetooth allows music and backing tracks to be streamed wirelessly from a compatible phone, tablet or other device. The guitar input can be used at the same time, making ES3 a practical tool for practising along with songs and backing tracks.

When no guitar is connected, ES3 can also be used as a compact Bluetooth speaker for general music playback.

Up to 12 hours of battery life

The built-in rechargeable lithium-ion battery provides up to 12 hours of use depending on volume and operating conditions. Charging is handled via USB-C for convenient mobile use.

Compact format with carry strap

Measuring 165 x 145 x 125 mm and weighing 1.44 kg, ES3 is easy to carry. A robust metal grille protects the speaker, and a leather carry strap is included.
