Orange Outlowd ES6

Orange Outlowd ES60 – battery-powered 60 W acoustic combo with microphone channel and Bluetooth

Orange Outlowd ES60 is a battery-powered acoustic combo amplifier with 60 W RMS output, separate guitar and microphone channels, an 8-inch Voice of the World speaker, Bluetooth and up to 12 hours of battery life. Developed in collaboration with Ed Sheeran, it is designed for singer-songwriters, buskers, rehearsals and smaller acoustic live performances.

Both channels feature individual EQ and reverb, while the microphone channel also provides switchable +48 V phantom power and a high-pass filter. An effects loop, balanced XLR output, AUX input and headphone output make ES60 flexible both as a standalone amplifier and as part of a larger PA or recording setup.

Overview and features

60 W RMS with an 8-inch Voice of the World speaker

Outlowd ES60 delivers 60 W RMS through a specially designed 8-inch Voice of the World speaker. The amplifier is designed to reproduce both acoustic guitar and vocals with clarity and useful dynamic range while remaining compact enough for smaller stages and mobile performances.

Separate guitar and microphone channels

ES60 provides two independent channels, allowing acoustic guitar and vocals to be amplified at the same time. Each channel has its own EQ and reverb control, allowing the instrument and microphone signals to be adjusted independently.

The guitar channel provides Volume, Treble, Middle, Q, Mid-Freq, Bass and Reverb controls. The combination of Mid-Freq and Q allows more precise shaping of the midrange, helping to control resonances or emphasise important parts of the guitar tone.

Microphone channel with +48 V phantom power

The microphone channel provides Gain, Treble, Middle, Mid-Freq, Bass and Reverb, together with switchable +48 V phantom power for compatible condenser microphones.

A high-pass filter helps reduce unwanted low-frequency content, making it useful for vocals, speech and other microphone sources.

Independent reverb for both channels

Both the guitar and microphone channels have their own reverb control. This allows different amounts of ambience to be applied to guitar and vocals depending on the performance and room.

Bluetooth for music and backing tracks

Bluetooth allows music, backing tracks and other audio to be streamed wirelessly from a compatible phone, tablet or computer. This is useful for practice, songwriting, playback between sets and performances using pre-recorded arrangements.

Up to 12 hours of battery life

The built-in rechargeable lithium-ion battery provides up to 12 hours of use depending on volume and operating conditions. ES60 can also be powered from an external mains adaptor for longer rehearsals, performances or home use.

Effects loop and balanced XLR output

The built-in effects loop allows external processors to be integrated into the amplifier's signal path. A balanced XLR output makes it easy to send the signal to a mixer, PA system or compatible recording equipment.

AUX input and headphone output

An AUX input provides a wired connection for external audio sources, while the headphone output allows silent practice and monitoring.

Portable design with gig bag

Outlowd ES60 measures 355 x 280 x 295 mm and weighs 7.34 kg. A fitted gig bag is included for easier transport and protection between rehearsals, busking sessions and smaller gigs.
